Easy to adjust, fits well, looks great!! Great value!!
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, fit, and features of this dog harness. I measured my 8 lb cocker spaniel puppy to get the neck and chest girth dimensions; she has a 9” neck and a chest girth of 14” currently so I ordered the XS, thinking it would fit now and allow her to grow and still use it. The harness arrived and I was really pleased with the quality: the outer nylon material is durable and provides a strong anchor for the 3 metal rings. It appears to be very easy to clean. The inner fabric is padded mesh and is comfortable. The reflective front strap is adjustable as is the chest strap. I found with my pups size, I currently have to adjust the front strap tighter after slipping it over her ears/head/tag-collar to get it to fit so that she doesn’t get her jaw on it to chew. The front strap does not have a detachable clip like the chest strap to help with putting it on & off. As she grows, this adjustment won’t be an issue. When I previously used her tag-collar with the leash, it used to press against her windpipe and choke her. As far as performance , the front strap on this harness prevents that. I found my dog accepted this harness very quickly and was very comfortable in it, even liking it enough to wear it to lay down & relax. There are nice patches to affix to the Velcro loop panels on both sides of the harness. The handle on the outside is very handy for lifting and repositioning a puppy during training. Other brands have larger, harder material handles which I do not prefer. I predominantly use the center D-ring for the leash. It allows me to also lift and pull on the harness without choking my dog. I’m very pleased with this harness.
I got this harness in an XS size for my maltipoo who is about 9lbs. This harness fits well and my dog seems to be comfortable walking with it on. The harness has plenty of room to adjust for a dog that is much larger than mine. The harness seems to be good quality. It is a similar design to our JoyRide harnesses, but those seem to be much nicer quality.
Works great for a 6 month old shih tzu puppy
I really liked the color I selected. It had removeable velcro sayings. It feels like a good quality harness. My bad that I ordered a small and it fit a bit tight on my new rescue dog. I like the reflective material that helps keep your pet safe when walking when it is darker outside.
